Health journalist and all-around SASsy woman Ana Santos was at the 7th Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights to give a poster presentation on Sex and Sensibilities. While she was there she took the opportunity to check out a few parallel sessions.
One of the sessions she covered was Infertility and surrogacy, part of the Special Populations topics in Track 3 of the conference, “Sexual and reproductive rights in ‘ordinary’ or non-crisis settings and during humanitarian response: Good practices, issues and challenges.”
Speaking at the infertility and surrogacy session were Sulochana Pednekar (India), Linda Bennett (Australia) and Ritika Mukherjee (India). The session was chaired by Marlene Gerber Fried and co-chaired by Rosena Sanchez.
