December 19, 2009, saw the launch of an ambitious project. Mulat Pinoy aims to engage the 2010 presidential and senatorial candidates on population and development issues, and to raise awareness among voters–especially the youth–about a variety of population-related concerns.
Thirty participants joined the discussion at the Tribeca Room in Astoria Plaza. We were also joined by speakers JJ Jimeno of PCIJ, Ramon San Pascual of PLCPD, Dr. Nimfa Ogena of the Philippine Population Association, Dr. May Corpuz of PCPD, and Mulat Pinoy Content Supervisor Dante Gagelonia. This is a project of the Probe Media Foundation, Inc., supported by the Philippine Center for Population and Development.
