Alberto C. Manduriao, the Regional Vice President of Philippine Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), recently stated that the Victoria LGU, under Mayor Raul Gonzales, and San Pablo City, under Mayor Vicente Amante, should renew the Sponsored Program (SP) Enrollment of PhilHealth. He delivered this statement at the 4A Regional Office of the Philippine Information Agency.

The recent memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing between PhilHealth, the Municipality of Victoria, and San Pablo City is testament to the continuing service of local officials to their respective communities. Amante and Gonzales are supportive of PhilHealth giving discounted premiums, which are locked in for two years. Both localities are in their eighth year of participation in Philhealth’s sponsored program, prioritizing the enrollment of 333 individuals and 5,021 poor families in both communities. According to Manduriao, he was very thankful for Amante and Gonzales’ commitment to giving utmost priority to the health insurance coverage of their poor and needy constituents.
