Six mobile teachers and District Alternative Learning System Coordinators (DALSCs) from six Nueva Ecija districts now have a new tool to teach those who are not enrolled in the formal school system.
In a recent turnover ceremony held at the Jaen Central School in Poblacion, Jaen, Nueva Ecija, each of the six mobile teachers and DALSCs received one Knowledge Channel Light Instructional Tool for Educators (KCh LITE) package, which included a netbook preloaded with KCh LITE software, LCD projectors and speakers.
The KCh LITE software contains Knowledge Channel programs, games and other specialized multimedia content that carry the five learning strands: 1) communication skills; 2) problem solving and critical thinking; 3) sustainable use of resources and productivity; 4) development of self and a sense of community; and 5) expanding one’s world vision.
