Through the years, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc.’s Board of Trustees has been a veritable line up of who’s who in the Philippine education and business landscape. Past Trustees include former Education Secretary Armand Fabella (…). The current Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro also sat at KCFI’s board until his appointment to the Cabinet. The Foundation recently hosted a “farewell” dinner for another Trustee, Mr. Ramon Jimenez, after President Benigno Aquino III appointed him Tourism Secretary.

To fill up the huge void left by these gentlemen, Knowledge Channel invited another luminary in the Education sector, Fr. Bienvenido Nebres SJ, to be a member of its Board of Trustees. Fr. Nebres accepted the invitation middle of 2011 after serving for more than 18 years as President of the Ateneo de Manila University.

Beefing up the lineup is former DepED OIC, Dr. Fe Hidalgo, who returns to KCFI’s Board of Trustees after her brief stint as President of the Philippine Normal University in 2010.
