For those of you who are wondering how the RH advocates are doing, check out RHbill.org for updates.
If you want to know who you might find should you decide to camp out as well, the list of organizations that support the movement is here.
Day One of Occupy for RH concluded successfully, sending a strong message to Legislators that supporters of the RH Bill will not back down from the fight to save the lives of mothers all over the Philippines.
Pro-RH legislators and supporters called for Congress and Senate to vote immediately on the Bill, as debates and interpellations were repetitive and introduced no new arguments against the Bill. Representative Walden Bello also called on President Noynoy Aquino to take a firm stand on the RH Bill and urge legislators of both Houses to come to an immediate vote. More on Day 1 here.
The Occupy for RH Campaign continued into its second day today, where despite a rainy morning Pro-RH Advocates remained in high spirits. Protesters continued to call on their members of Congress and Senate to vote on the Bill immediately, accompanied by the blare of car horns and paper trumpets.
Advocates also blew Red Whistles today in support of the campaign to raise awareness for the issue of HIV/AIDS in the Philippines. The Metropolitan Community Church Quezon City also showed their support of the movement by visiting the camp at SB Park.
