Mulat Pinoy launched the “We are Right Here. We are RH.” amateur video competition in order to highlight the voices of the youth regarding responsible parenthood, reproductive health, and population and development, no matter what their opinions were.

Following this core principle of empowerment, we decided to let the audience choose the winners through online and SMS voting, after an esteemed panel of judges chose ten finalists from all the entries we received.

The online and SMS voting started on November 4. While the enthusiasm and support of the voting audience is much appreciated, loopholes in the execution of the online voting were found. This has prompted us to take preemptive measures in order to improve our voting protocol — heightening security and making sure the voting process ensures fairness above all.

It is for this reason that online voting was temporarily disabled for at least 24 hours, in order to review and screen the current online votes. A decrease in votes will be noticed now that online voting is up and running again, but rest assured that any changes in the numbers will be a result of good and reliable debugging on our part. Online voting resumed on Friday, November 11.

SMS voting is still enabled, so feel free to keep voting through SMS by sending RH VOTE (entry number)/(your name)/(age)/(email add) to 2256. Each message costs Php 2.50.
